Menus
The authenticity of 82 Queen's Lowcountry menu can be credited to home-grown ingredients. Dishes are created with local herbs and vegetables such as okra, tomatoes, sweet corn, peppers, and mushrooms which showcase our prime cuts of beef and fresh seafood. Our shrimp, crab, grouper, flounder, snapper and black fish are so fresh they were probably swimming in local waters a day or two before being served at our tables. See our Lowcountry menus at the top of this page.
Charleston "Receipts" or Recipes
Charleston, South Carolina, rich in cultural diversity, is home to the uniquely Southern, Lowcountry Cuisine. Many of the original recipes -- or receipts -- include dishes influenced by African, French, Caribbean and Anglo-Saxon tastes. The table set in Charleston has, in its own way, the distinction reserved in this country for culinary destinations like San Francisco and New Orleans.
